Description
All CMV driver candidates must be given a road test to assess whether the applicant possesses the required driving skills to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle. Driver who possess a CDL are exempt (391.33) since they have taken a road test during the testing process to acquire the CDL license however, as a best practice, it is recommended that all drivers be given and pass a road test.
